About the firm
Selim Delivery Services is a small Nottingham operation that does two things properly: it moves homes, and it gets people to airports. No franchise, no call centre, no subcontracted labour.

Third-floor flats with no lift. Completion days that slipped. The 4am run to East Midlands that the apps kept cancelling. The work that bigger firms turn down because it does not fit neatly into a diary slot is exactly the work we built the business around.

A Luton box van with a tail lift for removals, because a transit is not big enough for a family house. A black executive van for transfers, because nobody wants to arrive at a terminal in a work van full of blankets. Same company, right vehicle.

When you call the number on this site you get someone who will be on the job. That is the whole advantage of five people: the person who surveys your move is the person who carries it, and there is nobody to pass the blame to.
House rules
Not values. Rules — the kind you can hold us to, because each one is a thing we either did or did not do.
Once it is in writing it is fixed. If the day runs long because we underestimated it, that is our problem, not an invoice line.
Blankets, shrink wrap and corner protection are on every removal at no extra charge. They are how the furniture arrives intact, not a premium tier.
If a piano needs a specialist, or an item will not clear a stairwell, you hear it before you book rather than on the day.
Not a queue. If we are carrying something heavy you may wait five minutes for a call back, and you will get one.
Branded, serviced and swept out between jobs. It parks outside your house and your new neighbours see it.
The five of us
Five people on our own payroll. There is no sixth crew we bring in when it gets busy — if we are full, we tell you.
Owner & lead surveyor
Prices the jobs, runs the surveys and drives the transfers. The voice on the end of the phone.
Removals crew lead
Runs the load plan on household moves and decides what goes on the van in what order.
Mover & packer
Wrapping, dismantling and reassembly. The one who rebuilds the beds before the crew leaves.
Mover & driver
Second seat on household jobs, and the driver on part loads and single-item runs.
Transfer driver
Airport runs, early starts and arrivals meet-and-greet. Keeps the executive van immaculate.
Sixth pair of hands
Growing the crew means finding someone who wraps a wardrobe properly when nobody is watching. If that is you, get in touch.
