One-off deliveries
Marketplace furniture, showroom collections and single large items — collected, carried by two people and put in the room you actually want it in.
Every single-item job comes with two movers, straps and a sack trolley. No 'can you give me a hand'.
We collect from private sellers with your name as the reference — you don't need to be there.

The usual complaints
Every one of these came from a customer telling us about the last firm they used.
“You've bought a sofa on Marketplace and the seller wants it gone today.”
Send us the listing, the two postcodes and the collection window. Same-day and next-day slots are usually there.
“A one-man van turns up for something that clearly takes two.”
Two people come as standard on single items. Nobody stands in a doorway waiting for you to take the other end.
“The courier leaves a washing machine on the pavement.”
We carry to the room you name — upstairs, through the garden, into the flat. That's the job, not an upgrade.
“Delivery is quoted per mile and ends up costing more than the item.”
Part loads share a van with other drops on the same route, so a short hop stays a short price.
“It won't fit through the door and nobody thought to measure.”
We ask for the item dimensions when you book and flag it if the access looks tight before anyone sets off.

Questions
General questions about booking, insurance and payment are on the questions page.
A dedicated van is yours for the journey — you pick the slot and it goes straight there. A part load shares the van with other deliveries heading the same way, so you take the day we're on that route and pay noticeably less for it.
Yes, that's most of these jobs. We give the seller or the shop your name as the reference, collect within the agreed window, and message you a photo of the item once it's on the van.
We can, but it needs quoting separately because disposal goes to a licensed facility rather than a skip. Mention it when you book and it goes on the same visit.
We ask for dimensions up front precisely so this doesn't happen. If it's genuinely tight we'll say so before booking, and if it defeats us on the day we'll take it back to the depot rather than force it and damage your frame.
