This site does not collect anything by itself

The quote builder on this website runs entirely in your browser. Distances are calculated from a table of postcode districts bundled with the page, and nothing you type is transmitted anywhere until you choose to send it — at which point it goes through your own WhatsApp or email client, addressed to us.

There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no cookie banner, and no third-party tracking on this site. We do not set cookies.

What we collect when you contact us

When you send an enquiry, ring us or message us, we receive whatever you choose to tell us. Typically that is:

• Your name and the phone number or email address you contacted us from
• The collection and delivery postcodes for your job
• The date, and details of what is being moved or how many people are travelling
• Any access notes you give us — parking, stairs, lifts
• A flight number, if you give us one for an airport transfer

Why we hold it

To quote your job, to carry it out, and to invoice you for it. That is the entire purpose. The lawful basis is performance of a contract with you, or our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you initiated.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into bookings are deleted within twelve months. Completed jobs are retained for six years, because invoices and insurance records have to be — that is a legal and accounting requirement, not a marketing choice.

Who else sees it

The crew working your job, and our accountant at the point of invoicing. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone else, and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

If a claim is made under our goods in transit or public liability cover, the relevant details are shared with our insurer in order to handle it.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email info@selimservices.co.uk and we will deal with it within a month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
